Filming of Wolf Hall took place at Penshurst Place in Kent from 6th – 9th May in the Queen Elizabeth. Room, Long Gallery and Baron's Hall.

I gotta mention some local gems too. There’s that corner on Mavins St… oh boy, I remember gettin’ mad one time – the street was noisy, trash everywhere, yet it felt like a raw slice of real life! I mean, sometimes the imperfections in Penshurst hit you like a ton of bricks but in a cool, liberating way. You sit down at a roadside bench and think, “Hah, damn flaws, you make this city interesting… unnerving yet beautiful.”
