Kewdale is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia within the City of Belmont. Kew Street was one of the first roads in this district, hence the naming of the suburb.

I’m often moved by how Kewdale reflects life's messy beauty. People here are open yet mysterious. It can be maddening and, well, sumtime it makes me angry. Like when a local council meeting goes sideways – so infuriating! The city radiates a mix of hope and despair. "They all got a past," as in Children of Men… hmm… but life's raw, ya know?
