Slipped it past Johnny, that dumbass newbie guard. Swear, I nearly fired his ass.

I get mad sometimes at the bureaucracy here – too many rules on tiny things. But then, I love the way people come together during crises. I had this session with a gnarly family after a minor flood near Coral Crescent – and they bonded over debris and lost things. It was chaotic, raw, and yeah, honestly humbling. Kind of like Spike Lee’s reminder, "Maybe it’s only in our darkest moments that we can see the light." Rarrgh!
