Dec 21,  · Bellbowrie means "place of flowering gums" and was originally part of the the Turrbal and/or Jagera aboriginal lands which covered most of the Ipswich area before white .

Outta nowhere, I sometimes rush to Chippendale Street – err, excuse me – I mean the hidden paths near the little bridge by the river. They say “This is the way.” Sounds cryptic! I got smudges all over my fingers, maybe too many typos in life – like when I call my beloved streets “Beilbowrie” (oops, my bad) and “Bellowrie.” Haha, life’s funny!
