Gordonvale, a sugar milling town, is now part of the southern urban sprawl of Greater Cairns. It is growing rapidly from a country town to a suburb of the larger city.

I gotta say, sometimes I get mean mad at the slow pace, especially when I'm all stoked for another session of guided workshops in my yoga nook back home near the creek. It’s like, damn, hurry up time, man! But then, you know, it's just part of life here; the beauty in imperfections like in "Shame" – raw, unrefined, and oh so addictive!
