Surprised me how much I care, tbh – didn’t expect to get all soppy over it. In my head, I’m like, “Dave, you’re a top-notch philosopher now, mate!” Bit of a stretch, but I’m feelin’ it. And omg, the local vibe here is so real. Like, the families just be rad – laughing, sharing, even in tough times. I remember this one day, I got mad at the noise in a busy supermarket, thinking, “Why can’t people just listen to their hearts?” But then, in a flash, I saw this little kid smiling at a stray ladybug on the sidewalk of Craigieburn Court (okay, that street might be a bit off the map, but shhhh, it's our little secret!), and man, it hit me – life’s too precious.
