Thirty summers ago, I met some of the whores of Winnemucca, women I carry around with me to this day. Their faces crystallize, freeze frame-style, in my memory.

I get all fired up sometimes when I see the city transform. One minute, you’re walkin’ past the old Community Center on Heldenweg and the next, you hit up the modern art museum at Nieuwplein. Emotions run deep here, just like in Pan's Labyrinth, where every step feels like a step into the unknown – but in a good way, brother!
