First off, I’m a machinist, so I’m used to the grind. But today? Ugh. I head down to the workshop on Newcombe St. and it’s like a scene from a horror movie. Tools everywhere, oil stains, and my mate Dave is already yelling about some machine that’s gone rogue. Classic Dave, always overreacting. But hey, I can’t blame him. That old lathe was acting like it had a mind of its own.
