The town of Zeerust is situated on the acacia-lined banks of the Klein Marico River that passes through the town before joining the Groot Marico at Skuinsdrif in the North West Province.

Gotta say, if you wander these streets, keep your eyes peeled for hidden gems. Ask the locals about the secret café on Birch Lane – it’s my personal fave though hardly anyone knows. Trust me, it’s worth the detour.
