So yeah, “Whore” – it’s a mess, it’s sad, it’s freaky. Love it, hate it, can’t shake it. Like *Turin Horse*, it’s quiet but loud in yer soul. “Everything’s in ruins,” they say in that movie – fits “Whore” to a T. Reckon I’d tell that puppet gal, “Honey, git outta there!” But she won’t. And that’s the kicker. Y’all watch it, lemme know – am I crazy, or is it genius? Prolly both! Hugs and kisses, Dolly out!

Oh, and a little tidbit: There’s this hidden mural in an alley near Elm street – graffitied by local artists around 2005, I guess. Not many know, but it kinda sums up the city’s weird magical heart. It’s like the movie lines: “It's all a grand, messy caper, precious, we swears!” And I reckon the mural is a shoutout to that vibe.
