I'm writing this book based upon how I dealt with my own childhood trauma and how it affected every aspect of my life growing up.

I stroll near the mill river (yeah, the one by Riverbend Park, buzzin’ and twisty, reflections shimmering like magic) and sometimes, the ripple reminds me of calm, even when life’s a chaos storm. There’s this funky cafe on Ash Ave that brews the best loose-leaf tea – my go-to spot when I need to chill hard or get those deep thoughts flowin’. Seriously, man, I’ve sat there soooo many times, just starin' out the window, wonderin’ at the beauty of it all.
