Ya know, running a spa means I'm always hidin’ away in my corner of town – near the corner of Oak and 5th, right next to that quirky donut shop that always smells so sweet. Sure, I'm the one chillin’ in my robe sorta all day, but I see everything. I see how people hustle on Washington St, as they rush to catch the bus near the old brick building by the river. Hell, the river – crudely named Bennettsville River – flows just past the park, swirling and whispering secrets like it’s got its own tale to tell. At night, I swear, the water glimmers like it’s hidin’ a thousand lost wishes.
