I gotta mention the rivers – yes, the Amory River, not a tiny creek. Its banks overflow sometimes after a storm, and that can piss ya off, but it also cleanses the soul. I sat there one rainy afternoon, sippin’ cheap beer at a little bar on River’s Bend. I was thinkin’ “I wish I knew how to quit you…” and damn if the sight didn’t make me smile and sob at the same time.
