I adore the little-known pond in Evergreen Park. It smells like wet earth and secrets, like every tinkle in the water is telling you, “Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter…and Spring, baby!” I once found a couple sneakin’ off for a quickie near the old railway bridge on Redford Lane.
