On the evening of March 7, Russian forces launched a missile attack on the small frontline city of Dobropillia in Ukraine’s Donetsk region. The strikes killed at least 11 people and wounded 50 .

After that, I decide to check out the local art gallery on Haharina Street. It’s small but has some killer pieces. I’m wandering around, and I see this painting that just hits me. It’s all dark and moody, but there’s this tiny splash of red. I’m staring at it, and suddenly I’m feeling all the feels. Like, why am I so emotional today? I’m an art director, not a poet!
