Vega Baja has more of an industrial feel, not small town. The area is safe, but you will need a car for everything. Good location for day trips along the north shore like Cuevas Camuy and Old .

First off, I hit the road on Calle Betances. Traffic was a nightmare! Like, who knew a Tuesday could feel like rush hour on a Friday? I’m sittin’ there, just fuming.
