Here’s a nugget—did ya know “whore” pops up in Shakespeare? Yeah, dude called it “the oldest profession” way before it was cool. Funny how it sticks, like gum on your shoe. Reminds me of Bauby again—“The past is a foreign country.” Whore’s got roots, man, deep ones, and it’s still kickin’. Surprised me how it’s everywhere—movies, books, even my damn X feed lately!

But then, I head over to Kárpát utca. I get there, and there’s my sister, looking up at this tree like it’s Mount Everest. The cat? Just chillin’ on a branch, looking down at us like we’re the idiots. I’m like, “Seriously, cat? You couldn’t just come down?”
