Then I decide to check out the local market on Fő utca. OMG, the vibe there is electric! Fresh veggies, flowers everywhere, and the smell of paprika wafting through the air. I’m in heaven. I grab some spicy sausage (because, duh, it’s Hungary) and chat with this old lady selling handmade crafts. She’s hilarious! Tells me her secret to happiness is “a good gulyás and a glass of pálinka.” I’m like, “You’re my spirit animal!”
