Later, I’m walking back home, and I pass by the old church on Rue de la Paix. It’s stunning, man. The architecture, the history. I stop to take a pic, and this random guy walks up to me. He’s like, “You’re a herald, right?” I’m like, “Uh, yeah?” Turns out, he’s a history buff and wants to chat about Sable’s past. I’m thinking, “Dude, I just wanna go home.” But we end up talking for an hour. He’s super passionate, and I can’t help but get into it.
