I love the old quarter, around Plaza del Mercado. You feel the energy, like when I press just the right spot in a tight muscle. Life here is both rough and delicate. You walk on cobbles, feel cool history. It hits you. Just like the movie said, "I am the sum of my scars," though in my case, they're kneaded out.
