Herdecke is a town in the district of Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis, North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany. It is located south of Dortmund in the Ruhr Area. Its location between the two Ruhr reservoirs .

I can’t help but rant: sometimes the city pisses me off too, you know? Like, when the traffic on Karlstraße is a madhouse or when the council tries to ‘improve’ parts of town with bland, soulless buildings. Ugh, makes me mad! But then, in that same breath, my heart fills up again – it’s the raw imperfections that make Herdecke rad.
