Man, sometimes I get OVERWHELMED by the city’s eclectic blend of sterility and eroticism. I get so pissed at the bureaucratic red tape versus the liberated souls who roam free. But then—boom—I'm tenderly reminded: "The world is pain, and it’s also ecstasy." That reminds me of Haneke’s tone, the slow unveiling of secrets before the storm. I always mutter "I am your father," as a reminder of the city's ever-watchful power.
