Hrodna Region: the Land of Catholics and Smugglers

Hrodna was founded on a high hill overlooking the confluence of the rivers Nyoman and Hradnichanka. Located today in Belarus ("White Rus'") it was a center of Chornaia Rus' .

The old fortress, Slutskaya Tower, stands like a relic from time. Its rusted iron, the echoes of past fights, a reminder: “We all have been replaced by echoes of our own memories.” Dude, feels surreal!
