In Mary of Hungary, a keen hunter and sister of Emperor Charles V, decided to have a luxurious lodge built in Morlanwelz. It was named Mariemont (Mary’s mount). • .

The park, Parc Meliant, amazing vibes, rarrgh! It’s full of chill nooks. I often sit near its old fountain. Love is in every corner, man. And the river, though small, is like a secret heartline of the city. I walk by it at dusk, thinkin love mysteries... wow!
